extended ttt remarks, no spoilers.

many of the scenes in ttt ee added a lot to the story, i feel. i still don't get why we had to think aragorn was dead. the scenes with arwen were nice, i suppose, other than her nightgown; but i didn't see that it served any purpose in the plot. and i still really don't. i was hoping added scenes would rectify that.

it made me happier with the frodo/sam part of the movie, happier with faramir (though still unsatisfied), and even slightly happier with gollum, who i had liked a great deal all along. the m/p and l/g stuff added was like tons of icing on the cake. i mean, i didn't feel it needed any improvement, but every shot and scene was entirely welcome.

fabulous. i felt it made a tremendous difference, where the extended fellowship didn't seem much different from the theatrical release.

perry and i both thought he'd hurt himself and sat up at alert. perry trotted across the room.

there's orpheus batting it warily and empress in the chair raising one eyebrow as if to say 'you're as dumb as my brother.'

but it was really cute.

also, what not to do at rotk. obviously, no one has seen the movie. someone posts she should spoiler-warn. what? honestly--no one who has avoided reading the books until after the last movie deserves that consideration, even if you couldn't guess the possibility from the title. how much spoiler is even possible?

while i'm at it, the anti-spoiler picture crusaders would be annoying if they weren't so damned hilarious.

Do not curse. Do not call him names. Just make an educated argument. State facts. If you don't have the time to write out a long email, write a short one or two line email stating you support gay marriage.

But the big thing? PASS THIS ON. I don't want to see just my friends list doing this, I want this to be like that shampoo commercial in the seventies. You get two friends to do it, and they get two friends to do it, etc.

Yes, it probably won't work. And yes, the man won't listen because he's doing 'the right thing.'
