this is a sweet, naive little story. the sex reminds me of the sex in 'crush'--disturbingly much. i wonder if i'd read it before and unconsciously copied it, or vice versa, or if it's just a really bizarre coincidence. little scraps of it ring with familiarity.
what really disturbs me about this frankie muniz movie, big fat liar, besides the fact that you don't want to kill amanda bynes for most of it as god decreed you should want, is the sexual tension between them. clearly they're like thirteen and whatnot so. i guess they can't help it. and besides, frankie muniz is just under the age of hotness, although not daniel radcliffe hot--a milder and more all-american kind of hot. less lethal. BUT, it's still disturbing.
gay sitcoms?

OH! we have cable again, and i bought tv guide with holographic gollum on the cover and there was a story about a sitcom where a girl with two dads, one relatively young and hot, is getting married to a conservative or something? does anyone know what i'm talking about? is it actually any good?
