(no subject)

being at work makes me want a 'promise ring'--not as a Symbol of Love and Commitment, but as a 'taken' sign. is that sad? i can't decide. it would make me feel somewhat safer. and it'd be way nice if it fended off obnoxious comments about boys.

i asked when the exam results were due and got no acknowledgement.

but after we find them out we have to buy plane tickets. and wax has to get an apartment *before* i arrive but *after* i know that i've gotten in. on the website, it's annoyingly unspecific: the results 'usually' come in 'may or june' and can be as late as 27 july. wtf, man? and why didn't she just say 'i don't know' if she didn't know instead of ignoring? is her english really THAT bad? (it is pretty bad.)

eta: school starts in early september, and we'll have to move. i have to be in alabama by early-mid august for another iatrist appointment, because my 'scrip will have run out. ideally, i don't spend more than two weeks at home. in fact, two weeks is pushing the limit of what i want to do.
