here i am! here i go!

i think there's some kind of lesbian attraction going around--unwitting at that.  i forgot to mention, but mimesere's post about it reminded me, that last thursday some chick i've never seen before in the store uniform asked me out of the blue how old i was, and at my "^.~" look explained that there was a guy who thought i was "really cute," but worried that i "looked really young."  i told her that i was twenty-one, but "sort of engaged," which she said she'd be sure to tell him, and i counted my till, torn between befuddlement, creeped out-ness, and amusement.  (i haven't seen that kind of message-bearing since third grade!)  and then yesterday this pleasant but plump and unremarkable produce worker was flirting with me madly again.  he's always like, 'hi cim who never talks to me. bye cim who never talks to me.'  (untruthfully, but once i walked by him in a hurry without greeting.)

last night i dreamt that daddy took me to a very small xtina concert, with only like 50 people in the audience, in a wee auditorium.  it was all a cappella but she didn't sing "impossible," which in the dream was my favorite song of hers, but in reality isn't.  i came up to her after the show and told her so and she was markedly unimpressed, but i still walked away giddy, going, i met christina!  i can't believe i'm not more excited!

speaking of christina, secret_angel, your fic is stalled, but you will get one.

but in REALLY GOOD NEWS:

+girl!manager (at work) is a bitch, but she likes me.  i have no dislikers to put up with in the management there.
+wax_jism's granny may be well enough to not have to go into a home when she moves out.
+my little sister is learning manners.
+i have a tentative date for miranda to play with my hair on thursday.
+we watched best in show last night--well, the end of it, at least.
+k'sal is alive and well.  well, well for k'sal.
