oh hey. i forgot to post about it last weekend, when
wax_jism and i watched boa vs. python and talked about the experience (in a, hahah, spoileriffic way). oh, it was bad. it was really bad. it was like--i've seen porn, in canada, that was this bad. but not all of the porn i saw was that bad. on the plus side, david hewlett was in it, and sometimes he was unusually hot even for him, if one discounts the hair.
my grandfather says chirac declared that finnish food was the only european cuisine worse than british. that doesn't surprise me at all. it just makes me glad that i haven't had more traditional finnish food than i have.
so there are these two bunnies wax and i are going to co-write. i have this horrible sinking feeling that we can't actually finish them as planned before the first episode of season two (stargate: atlantis) airs. we really need to get on the ball, except she's got this other idea and has started writing something else. it's, oh, lovely, not to jinx anything. i'm mildly jealous. i have a bunny too, but mine doesn't have a plot actually, it's just a premise involving teleportation, because i ordered steven gould's debut novel jumper from amazon.uk a few weeks ago--it's deservedly been one of my favourite fun genre works since middle school, although he's gotten worlds better since then (like helm, man--*shivers*! and even his second novel, wildside, was a lot more--oomph--but not quite as much fun).
i never have anything to say about terrorism, unless i'm in a situation where it's necessary to argue against racial and cultural and religious stereotypes. but about terrorism itself, it's just like--there really isn't much of anything to say. nice weather we're having.
although, actually, it is a little warm in here, and not just because i was looking at
mimesere's caps of david hewlett from boa vs python.
