early warnings
22 Nov 2006 01:53 pmi have another exam friday, an oral presentation next thursday and of course, translating from norwegian. there's another exam somewhere in there, but i think it's not until december 11 or something. so i lied about life resuming as normal in the second half of this week.
today my department chair asked me what i studied. *facepalm* this is possibly the first warning sign that i should, i don't know, interact with other people in the department and um. stuff. but then, she's kind of old and vague and i've cut my hair since i took her class. sldl (who co-taught it) still recognises me, at least.
today in café arken they were serving "cauliflower soup with fennel", which was like - a party for my tastebuds. possibly verging on an orgy for them. i love cauliflower puree soup, but this was awesome. so delicious. if the difference is really all fennel, then how is it possible that i didn't previously realise how brilliant, wonderful and delicious fennel is?
