drinkable marketing
13 Feb 2007 08:49 pmwax: this one knows us. she's trying to buy our affection with tea.
me: 'this one' what?
wax: it's a politician.
me: a politician is giving us tea?
wax: yep!
HALLELUJAH.
dear other area politicians: tea is a great way to win friends and influence people. you should all consider giving tea away to your entire constituencies. that way you don't even have to write much - tea says it all! and fits handily through the mail slot. love, cim
what we got is a postcard from the politician with a teabag stuck to the corner, dropped through the mail slot a few minutes ago. if all the politicians in the area did that, we could have enough tea for... okay, well, for maybe a couple of hours, i guess. it wouldn't even be enough for a day in our house (we should probably buy it in bulk: we go through three or more boxes of teabags a week, in a mixture of fruity black teas, earl grey, green tea, and tahiti (aka piña colada) and morocco (aka cinnamon mint) herbal infusions).
