You know, it's kind of amazing the number of people who mistakenly feel that writing a story series based on the seven deadly sins would be a good idea.

Wax and [livejournal.com profile] sinden and [livejournal.com profile] megolas have been encouraging me to write the epic mpreg of Gerard, King of the Werewolves and Frank, his mate. And Mikey, his vampire brother. We ate out today and our food was so slow in coming that I had time to rehash almost everything I've talked about with anyone else aloud with her and to ponder the intricacies of Actual Plot Type Things (politics :|!). She decreed that, like all good epics, it should begin with a prologue set on a dark and stormy night when The Mama first met Mikey and Gerard's werewolf daddy, and I figured that bit all out too, but I didn't write anything because I spent most of the day making a new lj layout instead.

I'm starting to feel that I should watch Underworld, since I've never seen it. Or maybe read some Anne Rice, but I don't think I'm really brave enough for that.

  1. Title: April 1666
Summary: Ryan must leave London to escape the plague and acquires a mysterious stranger along the way...

  2. Summary: AU. Set in 1933, a short drabble involving Brendon fixing Ryan's vest and the Nazi's.

  3. Summary: How does Frank sleep at night when he's trashing everyone's lives with his columns? It's a question even he can't answer. Besides, a little dirt never hurt anyone.

  4. Author Note: It’s hardcore smut that even God would approve of! =) This was my first slash story ever. Be kind. And please note, I made it so Mikey is an only child. I wanted to avoid the whole cliché ‘my older brother artist is introverted so I rarely see him’ … so I just gave him no brother. Lol.

  5. Summary: Completely AU. Pete is a pervy club owner that sleeps with cute boys [that are still in high school] that make him look good. Brendon happens to be one of those boys. And Brendon’s more than cute boyfriend Ryan hates the fact that he knows Brendon is cheating on him with that skeevy old man. So Ryan decides to teach him a lesson that he won’t forget... not soon, anyways. Or so he thinks...

People keep asking me if it would be cheaper to take a TRAIN to central Europe from Finland than a plane. I wonder if these people have never ridden a train, or simply don't grasp that trains go on the ground and consume combustible fuel? (One need hardly say that they don't grasp Finland is a peninsula.)  Someone once told our exchange student from Norway that she hadn't visited it at all, but she might have stopped there "for gas" while her family was road-tripping around Europe.

Okay, PSA, people: in order to get from anywhere in the Nordic countries to central Europe by train, you would have to first take that train into Russia and south around the Blackaltic Sea, namely: through most of eastern Europe (Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania) and Poland before you even reach Germany (which would take a couple of days and, needless to say, cost a lot more than flying). A ferry will take you quickly to Stockholm, and another will take you to Denmark from there, but it's a toss-up whether that would actually save you any money.

Ahahahhaha. A TRAIN. Thank you, America, for the LULZ.
