You know, it's kind of amazing the number of people who mistakenly feel that writing a story series based on the seven deadly sins would be a good idea.

Wax and sinden and megolas have been encouraging me to write the epic mpreg of Gerard, King of the Werewolves and Frank, his mate. And Mikey, his vampire brother. We ate out today and our food was so slow in coming that I had time to rehash almost everything I've talked about with anyone else aloud with her and to ponder the intricacies of Actual Plot Type Things (politics :|!). She decreed that, like all good epics, it should begin with a prologue set on a dark and stormy night when The Mama first met Mikey and Gerard's werewolf daddy, and I figured that bit all out too, but I didn't write anything because I spent most of the day making a new lj layout instead.

I'm starting to feel that I should watch Underworld, since I've never seen it. Or maybe read some Anne Rice, but I don't think I'm really brave enough for that.

In the shower today I was thinking about the languages Gerard and Mikey speak. I think Romanian is native for werewolves and Romanian vampires alike, although the Mama was actually born in Italy a hundred years ago or something, so they kind of speak/understand minor bits of Italian, and they spent most of their young childhood in France, so they also speak fluent French. Not that that would show up since I speak none of those languages, but I'm easily entertained.

I think the McCrackhead is an idiotic, overly-angry warmonger werewolf - of which there are always many - and Gerard is a more modern progressive peace-loving one, and the McCrackhead is also a srs Vampire Hater and wants to cleanse the wooooorld of vampires and Gerard is like "Dude, we don't have enough power to wipe out the vampires in all out war, let alone the humans who are gradually encroaching on werewolf land and killing off the other clans."

UNDERWORLD. underworld is one of my most favorite movies of all time! XD! it is, hm, perhaps not all that good. but! it stars THE NIGHT--especially the actual theatre release, in which you see sunlight for maybe five minutes total, if that.
