Moodtheme Attrition
So, hahaha, I accidentally deleted my moodtheme entirely from existence yesterday. Well, I've been too lazy to make a new one for years, but it's about time to make one with actual DVD caps - the original Star Trek caps I had predated the DVD release and were from this website of a woman who took them by taking digital camera photos of her TV screen. Another Kirk/Spock theme and a Singin' in the Rain theme are both on my to-do list, but first I'm gonna make a theme of our own cats for wax. I know it's twee, but look, we like to stare at them, okay? Plus, I have like 2000 pictures of them (not exaggerating there, actually).

I'm definitely switchin to Linux next time wax_jism has three days to do it for me. Meanwhile I've put all my media files and all my documents except my fanfic folder on her computer and have to remote log in and copy them back and forth every time I want to do anything. It's like the computer equivalent of camping in your apartment when you're moving, sleeping in a sleeping bag, surrounded by taped-shut boxes of your own possessions. I hope I get around to this before leaving for Alabama.

I feel that anyone who can be mean about Gerard is bizarrely inhuman. Sometimes I suspect that I myself have a mildly sociopathic core, but even I would not be mean about Gerard or kick puppies, which seem to be about the same thing to me. However, somehow, Marilyn Manson's lame-ass shenanigans seem kind of exempt from that. Is it because I feel so sorry for the guy since he's so transparently lame? Is it because it's so hilarious that it doesn't actually seem that insulting? Is it because nobody could possibly be hurt by something like that when they have Frank (two feet tall though he may be) watching their back? Is it because it reminds me of that feud between Pink and Christina Aguilera circa Linda Perry, where Pink thought Christina was copying her by wearing clothes, being mostly naked, and working with Linda, and also that she was a ho or something? Yeah, I dunno. I do know that, however that feud may have led to rps, this one won't, though. OTP, man. I couldn't read either one of them with Manson. Or, you know, anyone. Except possibly, occasionally, Mikey.

My better half has deep thoughts about cheese
"I wonder why companies feel the need to put like" [squeaky voice] "'This cheese tastes GOOD!' on their package of cheese. Like what, like, unless they tell us that, we probably think that their cheese tastes like ass?" This is the kind of deep shit me'n'my girlfriend ponder at breakfast lunchtime pretty much any time.

PS. I had a dream about Mikeyway and Pete last night
But I don't remember it. Pete/Mikeyway is totally cool with me because it's probably canon. Also, I decided, Pete/Ryan, because it's semi-canon. Otherwise, Patrick/Pete is another OTP. OTP-breaking makes my OCD little soul faintly anxious. And makes me make I Don't Love You Gerard faces, except not as flexible and adorable.

1. Summary: Very short fic, just a weird little conversation between Brendon and Ryan. It's kind of an out-take from my 'Battle of the Bands' story, except that I would never seriously consider putting it in the story. And yet, I still felt the need to share the pain >.<;
