16 Nov 2007 12:40 amThe thing about babies eating real food is that if they're eating real food, they're also puking up real food. Sometimes like, 80% of the real food that you put into them.
eta: I'm also super jazzed that Carmela wanted me to put her to bed tonight instead of one of her parents. I wasn't going to put that in the update at all because I'm aware of how completely lame it is, yes, but it does feel pretty validating, okay? And for once she was actually being good, that's the weird thing. I had to read the book of nursery rhymes to her like three and a half times, but it was a way short book - I was surprised (from my experience of Perrin) that she didn't demand a longer one. And then she just sort of lay down and hummed to herself for a while and asked for her favourite doll and said I could go.
