Wax has been jonesing for some ordinary old manly black Docs, probably ever since the My Chemical Romance in A Clockwork Orange photoshoot (this is conjecture, though). I'm not very manly, though, like, ever, and not even very butch, although on occasion I can achieve baby dykey with a touch of girliness. So predictably enough, I fell in love with these instead, in the Zara juniors' department.



Playful and rugged simultaneously! Tomboyish and beribboned. Yeah, they're pretty much perfect. I wouldn't throw that blue velvet bag out of bed for eating biscuits either.

cim: So, I read a badfic where Jon Stewart is really upset that his baseball team loses, so he locks himself in his room and his wife calls Stephen Colbert to fix the emergency. Stephen picks the lock and goes in there and cuddles him until he is ready to apologise for being a dick, and then his wife comes in and they all three sit on the bed, and then Stephen tries to go and Jon is like NOOOES I AM STILL SAD, so Stephen cuddles him from the other side and they both kiss his hair and Jon sighs happily, TEH END.

new bandslash fic: worth it

Two weeks ago bexless and I posted our matching Nesty Verse stories, "Absence Sort of Does Make the Heart" and "Conclusions". This story is set in the same alternate universe, where Ray is a studio musician, Gerard is an artist, and Frank runs an indie record label with Mikey's help. The story takes place a few years after "Absence...", in summer of 2006, just a few months before "Conclusions".
