bexless and I posted our matching Nesty Verse stories, "Absence Sort of Does Make the Heart" and "Conclusions". This story is set in the same alternate universe, where Ray is a studio musician, Gerard is an artist, and Frank runs an indie record label with Mikey's help. The story takes place a few years after "Absence...", in summer of 2006, just a few months before "Conclusions".

I love how tentative they still are with each other, how hesitant to assume things. they are such boys and should totally just sit down for a talk about how stupid they are for each other and how they want to be around each other all the time.
