Oh okay, and that reminded me! I mean, this icon reminded me. I followed a fashion news item to the website of a trendy little NYC punk label full of horribly clashing DIY clothes made out of chopped up t-shirts, mini skirts made of tighty whities, hideous rainbow tights and crass slogan tshirts, rainbow tutus, and hot pants covered in fat ruffles of lace to put one in mind of those baby diaper covers that go under the little dresses. It's called New York Couture and a lot of their outfits are modelled by Audrey Kitching and some other skinny pretty girls with ugly makeup and motheaten-looking hair. A very few of them are actually attractive, while quite a lot of them are at least interesting (that dress is made of three tshirts cut so and so and so and so!) (oh look, neckties!) (but where did her shirt go?), and the vast majority are ugly enough to be really funny. Wax,
shiroi_chi and I passed right through the LOLing stage (at nearly every image) into the oversaturation stage where we just stared, with glazed eyes, at each new picture.
