Remix Redux 09: on the process (medie's Still Waters)

Last night by the time I finished uploading my remix to cimorene.net and posting it, I was kind of too tired and distracted by the badfic I was reading to write up a post about the remix process.

I kind of wish that this had been the common practice the first time I participated in Remix Redux, too, because I feel like the process was a lot more interesting that time (when I remixed Daegaer's Good Omens AU, "Ordinary People" - in which Crowley and Aziraphale are humans - by keeping the entire plot but converting them back into themselves). But there's always a process when you're trying to engage with one story and make a new one, so here's what I have to say about remixing medie's Still Waters.

How dare you wobble my plebefic header's boa constrictor!

1. A/N: Simple words are used for readers to easily understand.



2. Notes: I seriously think I'm updating way too quick. Am I? *blinks*

4. Summary: Ryan is a new boy at Modern Day High, and it starts when he feels Edward Cullen is annoyed by his body scent. through some weird and unfortunate events, now Ryan and Edward are dating. finally.



5. Authors Notes: Okay..so like...this is pretty much dominated by the sex, it's short and relatively less detailed than it actually could've been. So...condensed version of sex? They were kids, so I didn't want something just off the wall nastey, just...it kinda has a first-timers feel to it.

In Linux Mint, the default terminal (command line program) loads a random quote whenever you start it up. Today's was
