Thanks for sharing! (Origins in the hippie era - consciousness raising or support groups, perhaps? Favored by my mom and thus my earliest introduction to the idea! Nostalgia!)

But what are your thoughts on yaoi? (Old-school Fandom Wank Meme: a classic. Favored by me.)

Cool story, bro. (ONTD meme; favored by my wife.)

Bored now. (Buffy; favored by Evil Willow before and/or after she eviscerates someone, which is always fun.)

  1. Disclaimer: Don't own them (but I really really wish I did!...that sounded creepy.) [Finally some self-awareness on this owning thing!]

  2. Summary: That's when he starts to cry. He didn't cry earlier, when he and Frank yelled and screamed at each other, and he didn't cry when Frank marched into their bedroom to pack his things, and he didn't cry when Frank told him that if he's not growing up soon, he will not come back.

  3. Author Notes: I am the bad guy.

  4. Summary: Ryan Ross is a teacher at a high school. Brendon is a student at the same high school. Their relationship is just like any other student/teacher relationship. But things change when a girl claims that Ryan has raped her. Brendon is the only one that believes that he didn't do it, and the only one that supports him. But he also has some problems and secrets of his own to deal with.

  5. Warning: mentions of sex (not descriptive at all)

It's hard to explain how much I covet these. I don't actually own any Clarks shoes because they're expensive (slightly under the price of Docs, but less useful since I couldn't wear a pair of these every day through the winter!), but they've been on my want list for years. They're comfortable, usually stylish and classy, and very well made. And I've really been wanting some granny boots.

ETA: Gosh, I could get the Victorian ones in black for only £60 and £6 s&h from here! Obviously I don't have that money to spend on frivolous shoe-purchases right now but - that's about half the price of my Docs: unexpectedly cheap! Now I will pine.
