The period known as "Drowning in Laundry" has come to an end!
Our washing machine, as you may remember, died in December and we couldn't afford to replace it, but we got a new machine one week ago today, and after nearly a full week of washing, the last load of backlog is in the machine (except for one load of dirty carpet runners waiting in the bathroom). This week I have washed:
After all of this, we will finally be able to vacuum ALL THE THINGS, which isn't fun in itself but is nice in that it should dramatically reduce the amount of dust hanging around.
NO MOAR LAUNDRY!!!!!!!!!!!
Finally, an illustration: a picture of the Crazy with a portion of our sock collection (about half, I'd say... it's just the ones from Wednesday forward).

- Sunday: two loads
- Monday: five loads
- Tuesday: five loads
- Wednesday: four loads
- Thursday: two loads
- Friday: two loads
- Saturday: the last load of sheets and tablecloths and then the last rugs
