how to read recent SPN for people who don't watch it and don't want to?

It occurs to me that I haven't been reading Supernatural because I don't know what's been happening for a season and a bit. I mean, I know the factoid-spoilers that drift by on Tumblr like ( sorta SPOILERS )

but I don't actually have much idea of what's been going on.

So! Does anybody know the location of another post like How To Read Dean/Castiel for People Who Aren't Up on SPN Canon and Don't Want to Be that I wrote in mid-season 4, except covering the time after Sam mysteriously returned from the pit?
