Haha so, Ubuntu 11.10 Oneiric Ocelot1 has a quiet boot.
( Hahahahhaha. How stupid motherfucking quiet boot and my own incredibly absent-minded... brain... possibly made me do 2 fresh installs because I thought my OS was broken when it was really doing a secret filesystem check, unless it wasn't, but it seems to be working now so I guess it wasn't really broken last night... )
