Like a helpful mnemonic. With rhymes. (cw)

Yeah, they all mean well, but I'm starting to get massively annoyed by the approximately 3k per day tweeted reminders to "not forget and try to help [every possible group or classification of people, animals, and political issues everywhere] during this crisis".

This is partly because I want to not forget any of them and hope somebody can help all of them and the fact that there's too many makes me a bit more anxious and guilty with each new addition, but as the crisis accelerates the number of entrants on the list to assiduously remember to remember has grown so long that my Twitter feed is about half list, and at some point one starts to think, "There's got to be a better way".

I personally know three people who have already said that menstruation should be suspended for the duration of the crisis. That probably covers my last post, and also this one. I tend to have lingering discomfort that a combination of the top recommended dose of painkillers+chocolate can't banish and this comes out in irritation...

It just occurred to me that it would be viciously satisfying just now to block and report everyone who has:

- tweeted a joke that our cats are "prawns"
- liked that tweet
- tagged a Tumblr post of our cats as anything even slightly uncomplimentary
- including "goblin" for the BB even though in Tumblrese that isn't exactly uncomplimentary, because the BB is the literal embodiment of mammalian perfection and she doesn't even resemble a goblin, she's just very dainty
- tagged a post of the bunnies as "lionhead" (THEY'RE!! NOT!! LIONHEADS!!! AND THEY HAVE A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT PATTERN OF FUR GROWTH)

Oooh, and also to block everyone on Tumblr whose tags appear in my notifications feed referring to pairings by twee nicknames and portmanteaus (this last one isn't even technically POSSIBLE but I do fantasize about it periodically, and if I'm not being realistic anyway, why not dream big?).

I won't do the more realistic ones either because once I'm no longer in pain and less irritable I would have to go back and undo them all, and I don't have time for that.
