1. Decorating his home for Christmas is a task Mycroft Holmes takes very, very seriously.



2. Greg is a chronic insomniac. Mycroft playing the piano is the only guaranteed way to get him to sleep. When Greg gets shot on a case and Mycroft is half a world away, Greg worries that what they have, isn't worth it. However...Mycroft always manages to send the right message his direction.



3. When illness strikes, it does not matter whether you are the British Government or a random citizen; it can hurt badly, sometimes deadly.



4. After driving back to London with Mycroft, Greg Lestrade finds himself in a relationship with the British Government. Will the budding relationship survive disaster, emotional baggage, and Sherlock?



5. Mycroft shouts at a minion as Greg waits outside his office. The trouble is that Greg likes authoritative men and he is a little turned on. What happens when Mycroft summons Greg into his office for their meeting.

knypplinge: walls and work surfaces

We went and picked up our beautiful little pieces of butcher block for the counters (the counters not at the sink that is - the whole dishwashing area is a single piece of stainless steel) and the home center rounded off the wrong edge of one of them, but we're too chicken to take it back... and also we don't want to have to physically drive it there, because that's over an hour round trip. Hopefully the carpenters can just do a new one with a hand-held router and some sanding. Whatever whatever whatever.

Also we bought some medium blue-gray paint for the powder room and I'm gonna do a uni posca marker mural over it in white - line art, waves, maybe a bit like this or this. On one or more walls. We'll see how I feel about it. And also how I feel about the darkness. I might color glaze some of the walls to lighten them a bit after.
