last night, i had several dreams. first i was working for my boss from during the year at an art museum, only the art museum was more like a parking garage, and i seemed to be there overnight a lot. there were these demon-things hunting me, taking on all kinds of disguises, and trying to kill me. my dad came and took me home, and when we got there one was waiting in the guise of my former girl scout troop leader, and demanded to take formal photographs of me, and we knew we had to let her or she would kill me somehow. also, encountered the boys i used to play with when i was little (they were neighbors at the time), 2 and 4 years younger than me respectively, but in the dream they were still there and i was in love with the younger one (who looks a bit like haydn christenson, btw, only cuter--not that i would ever be in love with him), and the demons were trying to kill his mother too.

also, while away--which was a very cleansing experience, even though great-grandma is not actually dead yet, by the way--i dreamed i was shopping in a giant department store and trying to see attack of the clones with brynnan, a girl from my high school class who i wasn't that close to in the first place. we ended up sleeping in the purse department because we got last in.

for reference, all, the trip from northcentral alabama to miami by car can be made in as little as fourteen hours.

the time away may also have been good. did a lot more thinking, actually, without the internet to distract me.

..is this what happens when one reacquaints with kith and kin, past demons (former girl scout troop leader, boys i used to play with, a girl from my high school class, haunt our dreams? yike-a-mose! could make one want to stay away forever.. : )
