aeslis and i watched the all or nothing arashi dvd, and i took some caps of the concert parts. below the cut are possibly the most horrifying outfits i've ever seen in my life, consisting of WAY too much neon pastel shag carpeting, plus a visual introduction to Nino Is A Really Big Dork (in a completely endearing way which is evident in an astounding proportion of screencaps of him singing or dancing).

the all or nothing dvd--i wish i had time to have a viewing party with you guys; i've mostly skipped around a lot--but it's a lot of fun. except sho's part makes me uncomfortable. ^^; and aiba's part is so talky that it's hard to get into it, even if you know he's talking about something important.

hmmm, yeah, it's good to watch it in the middle of the night, with a lot of sugar and/or caffeine involved, i think. because then when the aiba part comes around, you (or rather i) are (am) still giggly from the preceding parts, so it passes in a haze of "awwwwwww, he's still crying!" "he's so cute!" "damn, isn't it kind of mean to force him to talk about how sad he is for what seems to be several days on top of having to go to the hospital instead of have fun?" and... i didn't pay close enough attention in sho's part to even notice when he was booed, even though aes told me about it in advance. it's kind of funny how he seems so manly and guyish and normal around the rest of arashi, but when you put him with actual normal guys it's like... ahhahahah, because he's still kind of small and neat and sparkly.

... and see, the universe may be safe because of the fandom's inability to produce more jun/aiba, but that still leaves me sadly craving. :(

ahahaha, yes! there was a period when he was all scruffy and whatnot because they were filming their latest movie, and maybe then he might have looked more like a normal guy! ...or a hobo. hm.

but that still leaves me sadly craving. :(

well, i will--look, i really will finish no clothes someday soon (i'm taking it on my trip with me) and then i will see what i can do.

when i try to think about my CrackSFRoomOfGay idea and nino, jun and aiba keep getting in the way! if you write some someday it will be fabulous. maybe i will write some too. although i feel like i need to watch some more episodes with them first. i've only seen two magos with jun so far.

also, i have a picture of scruffy sho. he kind of looks like a hobo! but also he looks kind of ... gay, or else just really on crack. and still small and adorable, though no longer neat or sparkly.

p.s. if you join ohno_daily, a few entries ago someone posted an early appearance of ohno on hanamaru cafe with subtitles. he talks about his mom buying all his clothes and how leader is like a nickname and aiba was only told to go to hawaii three days before they left.

yessssss the magical doors! i love magical doors! i love scenes where someone opens a door and it goes some wacky place and then closes it and opens it again and it goes someplace different. and where they're trying desperately for a particular destination and keep getting the wrong ones. probably only ohno has an onsen, cause he's just great that way. and skinny and wee and fun to mock in a towel.

Oh...Johnny's outfits are always so horribly embarrassing. And they keep reusing them. Those outfits are probably twenty years old or more and have been worn by countless Johnny's. It kind of ruins live performances and concerts a bit for me because I can't enjoy the music as much when I'm cringing in embarrassment.
