this green floral pattern is new for the ikea sofa wax and i already liked. i am a little bit in love with it even though i think it kind of wouldn't match anything, since we bought most of the stuff in our livingroom with a red and orange carpet in mind. red and green are, in my opinion, the best colours around, but unfortunately one can't just buy things in them indiscriminately, because mixing them must be done thoughtfully or it comes out looking strange. alas. there are also a number of shiny new things to match it, like this bookshelf and table in a bright green which aren't (yet?) on the website.

i kind of feel weirdly filled with grumpiness lately but when i have people around, the feeling recedes. i think i'm just going to choose to blame that on the weather (along with all other recent problems, weirdnesses, instances of being somehow out of sorts), for the sake of brevity and simplicity and because it's not like i can be proven wrong. it's odd because i am not only introverted but also misanthropic, yet i have a definite need for company - it just has to be limited to few people. maybe feeling restless leads to feeling lonely, or something.
