I think it's a valid interpretation. And it cracks me up how seriously we are discussing literary interpretation of anime-based j-pop. Someone should totally write her literature thesis on "Tezuka/Ryouma Overtones, Subtext, and Blatant Fanservice in Prince of Tennis." XD
