(no subject)

i did start some smut, katie and naina, but then i got sidetracked by interior decorating, damn its siren call.

i have been painting this chair ALL DAY. if i'm lucky, i'll finish tomorrow. (then: table! lamp! curtain rod!)

i'm so geeky. paint chips are just unspeakably exciting, and i exclaim with delight when i manage to mix just the right shade of plum or gold in acrylic.

meanwhile, my mother has been painting a giant wooden headboard bright blue. why? for climbing flowers. yes, that's right: we're really going to have a flower BED. hee hee.

i think i'll find some smut to read before bed, and we'll see if i can get the others written in the early part of next week, or possibly tomorrow night.

*authoritatively* Pretty new things take precedence over smut, even really GOOD smut. Go decorate, and have fun!
