also, last week i killed about 24 hours in two days at the mesmerising trainwreck syndrome spot that is etiquettehell.com, from the combination of stories of appallingly bad manners, the fact that many of them have to do with weddings (already seriously creepy), and the kind of mind-numbing constant stream of generally minor usage errors in all the anecdotes, since they are user-submitted.

Ah, EHell: the place to go when I feel like I'm the least socialised person in the world and need to remind myself that at least I'm not demanding people pay for orange-satin-with-butt-bows monstrosities they'll wear for one day.
