i really dig the finnish chick in my spanish class. she's eager to speak english with me, which she, much like my better half, picked up from television. her accent's a little funky and today she was using it to tell me about how her parents went out of town for a two-week caribbean cruise and left her their car and she stayed up till 3 am last night watching sex and the city (i haven't marathoned that since i was in high school and

kitten_head rented a bunch of them over christmas ♥). well, it's not one of my shows but i feel box-set-marathoning indicates a basic kindred spirit kinda thing anyway. this is the highest level of spanish offered here and she's majoring in physics, though, so probably after this class i'll never see her again.

and now sofia's here so wax is watching supernatural without headphones on. ew. i think i'm going to need my ipod to be able to study even if i shut myself up in the bedroom.
