ah HA!

ahem. Excuse me.

Hardwicke has become Watson in my head. He has a sweetness that none of the other actors seem to have. I like him a great deal.

What changed your mind?

well, i started in the empty house to like him almost as well, because that one was really good. then it was gradual, scenes that i liked sort of spread out, and then the day before yesterday when i was watching the bruce-partington plans and they were talking and flirting and looking at each other, and he was SO CHARMING, and holmes was smirking at him, and i was like, i can completely understand how holmes could be totally, completely in love with him in spite of himself because you just can't help it. he's crying out to be cuddled. he's so... !!! you know what i mean?

heee heee... Yes. I think the slash becomes the most evident with Hardwicke, 'cause he's just so damn cute, and he has this dry sardonic way about him when dealing with Holmes. The two of them really do play off each other very well.

Not sure why the Holmes/Watson is tickling me so much lately, but it really is and shows no signs of slowing down.

yeah. dry, and sardonic... and he gives in with this sort of helpless air. he plays the mother-hen tendency extremely well, and i like how he chastises holmes occasionally for putting himself above the law. he's not just... servile. he doesn't just hold himself completely beneath holmes. you really see more of the partnership between them.
