Hey, also, I don't think I mentioned that it's basically been snowing for over 24 hours here, and for most of the middle of the day it was snowing like sideways in that "window/balcony is solid white" sort of way. But at no time during the blizzard has it been above freezing. It wasn't even sticking till noon or so but finally the sheer mass of snow just built up so it couldn't melt fast enough. OH YOU CRAZY WEATHER. I need a tag for "crazy fucking weather" or possibly "LOL global climate change" or something to that effect.

Meanwhile Veronica Mars is in severe danger of cancellation, or alternatively of s4 skipping 4 years into the future with her as an FBI agent.

And here are the movie posters and a ton of high-res stills from Becoming Jane (Jane Austen biopic starring Anne Hathaway) and they're gorgeous and I'm getting excited. Also, 4 stars from Empire and a very promising review. Yay! Time to make icons! In honour of that, and of my convincing [livejournal.com profile] aeslis to read Austen for the first time evah, a poll.

Oh good, because I was a bit worried about the fic.

And omgIknow! I loved Meryl Streep already but my love drastically increased after I saw The Devil Wears Prada.

I think Anne actually sort of looks like the portraits of Austen that I've seen while also being more beautiful and... yeah, I'm quite excited now too. The positive review was a big relief.

When I was out walking my face turned numb and my coat was covered in a solid white layer like icing on a cake.

I sent it to you. I can hardly look at it anymore. :(

I always had a crush on Streep (I loved her in The Hours as well. Actually, I loved The Hours, period), but the minute I saw the trailer for TDWP, my jaw dropped and I went all *_*.

Yes, she did actually remind me of Austen's portraits as well. I'm just excited for the whole thing in general, while my flatmates at pretty much excited for it because of James McAvoy in period costume. :D

...ow. Ow, ow, ow. D:

God, I can't wait to curl up in bed with a book. I'm contemplating making a cup of hot chocolate but just curling up right now requires much less effort. Mmm.

I haven't seen that. I think I hadn't seen anything with her in it up until The Manchurian Candidate, where it was immediately apparent how cool she was. But the casting was aces in TDWP! *Sigh* Hilarious. Wonderful.

And James McAvoy in costume is not to be sneezed at. He's so wee and adorable in those stills! His tiny little face and velvet jacket!

And I got your email so I shall look at it now.
