cimorene: cartoony drawing of a woman's head in profile giving dubious side-eye (sex)

I just read a story that finished with a line about "his soulmate's forehead" (specifically, someone's lips were skimming his soulmate's forehead) and now I think I have been permanently traumatised.

But on the plus side, it reminded me of that whole he went to get the mail, absently noting that the other half of his soul had parked him in again thing, and I reread it, and it was just as funny as it was the first time around.

This post is severely traumatizing for me, because for some very strange reason the "his soulmate's forehead" sentence made me think of Mr. Potatoe. Our Mr. Potatoe had a very big forehead (on account of us not having any hair accessoires for him) and ...I don't know. I've never thought of Mr. Potatoe before when I read a fic with one character kissing the other one's forehead (actually, I always thought it to be very sweet), but here I immediately saw his image before me.

Maybe I should try find some bleach for my brain... v-v"

The "he went to get the mail, absently noting that the other half of his soul had parked him in again", on the other hand, is pure awesome.

It reminds me of [livejournal.com profile] mctabby's great Summary Executions. The "Albus runs away from his heart to Paris but his heart follows him." and the "A decade ago, Draco fled his home, and gland, and met Morigyn." summaries still make me grin stupidely for hours on end. XD
