My parents sent a package too large for the combined puny forces of wax and me to carry six blocks to the bus stop. Since we don't have a dog and a sled, I put off picking it up because I was chicken about asking Brother Windows for the loan of his chauffering service when he now has a real job, a kid, and a pregnant and sick wife. When I first went there the lady was like, "Oh, you can't carry this, can you, do you have a car? Do you want me to keep it until you can come back?" - So there's that in my defense... except I totally knew I couldn't really leave it there FOREVER. But anyway, apparently they opened it and sent all the individual boxes inside back to my parents, so I now owe them like thirty bucks. And am in big trouble. D: I can't think of a good way to be like "But just don't send me forty pounds of stuff all at once" when they have my wishlist of books and stuff and it's longer than your arm, and it's actually cheaper if you send it in bulk, I know, and originally sending it in bulk was my idea but... um. Well. Not that much bulk? I'm not She-Ra! Yeah, so I probably won't see any more of my stuff until I can go home and ship it to myself. *facepalm*

Ack! :(

Speaking of packages, I have totally forgotten to buy your Pop Tarts and Lucky Charms whenever I've gone to the store, but I've written myself a note now and will probably get them tonight!

I'll try to go this weekend and mail them on Monday, since the PO closes on the weekend. Last weekend I ran out of time. :)

Um, if you haven't already bought the stuff, is there any chance you could just reimburse me? If not, it's okay, but I made the offer before the Huge Financial Crunch Which Has Today Got Even Worse and so at this point I'd rather have money than candy if possible. It was about $8 for the foods and $20 for postage.

I don't have access to Paypal though, so I'm not sure how we could do that logistically; do you know of a way? I have an American checking account, but I don't have paper checks for it anymore.

Oh, hmm. I just assumed you had Paypal. It's okay, then, just proceed with the candy exchange. :)

Oh yeah, and I stuck some other little stuff I had around the house in, too. Of Japanese stuff, there's chocolate cookie Pocky, apple custard Pocky, tomato and cream hard candies (sounds weird, but they're really tasty), rum raisin chocolates, and then there are three kinds of Hershey's kisses: peppermint, dark chocolate orange, and peanut butter.
