Wax thinks the reason I can't write that Gerard/Frank AU that no one but isilya knows about or that Pete/Patrick AU that admittedly never made it through the working-out-plot-kinks stage is my historical struggle with leaving something unfinished and the fact that, now that I know how that longass SGA harlequin of doom is supposed to end, my OCD won't let me skip over it and write something else on the side. She doesn't go in for psychoanalysis of me very often - either because she saves her deep thoughts for fandom or because she doesn't want to get tickled jinx something or something - but when she does she's usually very insightful. So it's quite possible that she is right.
