Peridot the dragon watches over my Heyer collection. The rooster is in the style of Swedish folk art inspired by Carl Larsson.


A rooster goes on an outhouse door because an outhouse is called a "rooster" in Swedish. Well, actually, they're both called "tuppen". I'm not sure of the etymology, here.
