the sad saga of the delayed christmas sneakers

I'm kind of sad today. I guess it's the holidays being over, and how we hardly got any time to chill at home together because Wax only had a few days off. Vacation was fun, but it was more stressful than not having a vacation at all would have been.

I guess I'll marathon Bones and Poirot now and feel sorry for myself because I don't have any money for new books.

Also: Why are there no Heyer movies?

Also also: Why can't I find a turquoise wool beret?

Also also also: My parents decided to give me pink Converses for Christmas along with the money they sent, but because they're the ditziest ditzes to ever send a crack care package they a) missed my email where it said "LOW-TOP CONVERSES", b) didn't order any because they didn't know whether to get high-tops, and c) failed to check their email, ask me, or ask anyone to ask me until last week. Even though I have these butterfly skull sneaks which are the greatest sneakers ever in creation - and no one can tell me different - I really feel that pink Converses would add a lot of sparkle to my life right now. :(
