Note to whom it may concern: yes, they're tall. No, they're not hooker boots.

Also on the subject of shoes, I talked to my parents for several hours last night. My mom said they still have a Christmas present (read: the pink sneakers) that they "might send next week". Ahahahem. I said it would be like a Happy January present in that case (more likely a happy March present, knowing my mom, though), and she said, "See! It's a good thing!" They also agreed when treated to a description of my beloved skull and butterfly Vans that those are obviously the coolest sneakers in existence. I'm still not sure if they were humouring me or not...
