a waste of perfectly good electronics

It's really annoying that since upgrading the OS my headset doesn't work. The problem wasn't easily diagnosed, either, and I've alredy killed hours with it. It's a bit difficult to find anything because headsets are supposed to be simple plug-and-play devices, and it's kind of odd for a computer to refuse to accept any input... argh.
