From [livejournal.com profile] loltheist, my latest-friended RSS feed.

There was tons of snow yesterday, but despite that, I had a great day with online clips of Stephen Colbert and Jon Stewart, three whiny babies and a hilarious toddler. I feel warm and fuzzy, and my mom-outlaw loaned me a stack of Poirot novels.

Fun fact: Easter in the Nordic countries also includes witches. And children dress up as witches with makeup on their faces and go trick-or-treating for candy... as witches.

Fandom related fact: I've deleted my last band icons and removed all band communities from my flist because I am now certain that the love/interest is not going to come back. No more fic and no more talking about it will happen either. Feel free to defriend me.

That's a funny macro, but I feel they missed a trick with the hilarious skull just chillin' on the floor.

I feel strongly that it's Cromartie's skull. It's only waiting for an opportunity to find its body. Somewhere in the crowd is a headless skeleton wandering around wearing some poor junkyard worker's head crammed onto its neckstump.

Biblical junkyard? I think the skull should be saying "Dis party sux."

That's beautiful. Seriously beautiful. When I got into work this morning, I found a Jack Chick tract on my keyboard. Clearly somebody loves me.

LOL <3 If I had more time on LJ (MORE time?? Jeez, it's like I never leave, anyway!), I would subscribe. But I'll just have to laugh at this one.

Yay, witch Easter! Let's throw in some fertility rites.

Witches for Easter?!? Duuuuuuuuude! So, what do they do on Halloween?

Well, nothing. Halloween is really an American holiday. They don't even have trick-or-treating per se in England. Although in modern terms, they have parties very occasionally might include costumes and mostly they just... get drunk. Which is generally how Finns celebrate. I assume the origin of the Easter witch is somehow pagan, but nobody's been able to explain it at all so far.

Hahahha. I was kind of tired of the posts just for oversaturation even when I was reading the fandom. There's a very low threshold for how many clips of musicians talking about nothing and uninteresting candid pictures I'm willing to look at.

*snerk*

I did not know you were leaving bandom, which, whatever, we have shared and not shared many fandoms over the years, I am sad but we will coincide again. What soured you on it?

Oh, nothing really. I usually get tired after about a year. It's no longer novel, and I've exhausted all the backlogs of stuff I want to read. The supply of new fic to interest me isn't really large enough. And I suppose I'm always a little more happy in media fandom - when the canon sounds like gossip mags, it's a little boring.
