I'm suffering through the extended tv hiatus by rereading Heyer historicals at random, now, though we're still not quite caught up on Heroes. I can't stand to marathon it anymore, no more than a few episodes at a time, due to rising levels of stupidity in the plot. But really, I'm just dying to have new episodes of Bones and Criminal Minds. House and CSI were up there tied as favourites last season, but we've even stopped downloading the former, and the latter has just kind of palled a little perhaps through no fault of its own. They couldn't help a regular wanting to leave, but their handling of the whole thing left me considerably dubious.

The writers' strike probably didn't help either... They ended up using some pretty cheap plot devices to wrap things up, and I thought it made some of the characters seem OOC (Hiro in particular).
