I was really surprised to like it when I first saw it. It's very dopey and, well, stupid, of course, but... it's funny. And charming and slightly gay.

ahahaha. XD i've always figured that dude where's my car is the pot movie for kids (especially in how cartoony and exaggerated it is), and harold and kumar is the pot movie for, i dunno. college students. older persons.

maybe i've seen them both a few too many times, though. XD

They didn't mean it to be for kids - it had pot in it more explicitly, apparently, and then the studio decreed they go for pg and forced a bunch of cuts.
