cimoreneMy computer problem was ACCIDENTALLY diagnosed. Sort of. It was my monitor and not the graphics drivers. We hooked Wax's monitor to my computer and it worked perfectly, so we were like, 'oh shit, the monitor's broken'... and then she hooked my monitor to HER computer, just to see, and it worked fine.
In short, my monitor just hates my computer for no good reason, given that all elements of it except the harddrive are brand new. The power supply, for example. The motherboard, the processor, the internal cables. WHAT IS YOUR DEAL, MONITOR?
So we're both unhappy, but we can't afford an unnecessary new monitor and so we have to switch. Mine is lower resolution so Wax is bummed; and hers turns itself off if you let the computer go idle, which annoys me. DAMN YOU, TECHNOLOGY!
