that's soon enough for me
11 Jun 2008 04:58 pmFor reasons of the weather - low pressure and low sunlight - and also probably of the relatively new medication which makes me fatigued, I can barely keep my eyes open the last few days. It's really exasperating to feel too tired to do something when you have no reason to be tired. I'm used to being too tired to do things, say, after hours on my feet, but when you've barely eaten breakfast and can't summon the energy to get up and make another cup of tea?
Here's a lolarious picture of the noobs, age 1.

Date: 12 Jun 2008 05:14 pm (UTC)I remember reading something... where was it... about how brilliant the original pilot episode of Star Trek: TOS was (The Cage, later remixed into the season 2 two-parter The Menagerie - it had Spock but no Kirk, yet, and the original second officer was a woman played by Roddenberry's mistress, who also later played Nurse chapel... but I digress). What I'm trying to say is, it was talking about how they used little old grannies to play the aliens in that episode and modulated their voices, then gave them exaggeratedly large heads with balloons covered with fake skin that basically made them look like babies. It talked about how old people DO look like babies and how they both look, well, kind of like aliens, and kind of creepy, and how those were some of the freakiest aliens the series ever produced. And it was totally right. Whoa, that was kind of a ramble. Anybody read any good books lately? >.>
