I could totally make some. I mean, I've made some already. A kitty hat for mom, and most famously the Moo Moo hat (http://anglepoiselamp.livejournal.com/450031.html). They're knitted, but it's way easier to crochet hats. :-B

Hahah. I remember that hat, now that you mention it! The crocheted ones look rather different, don't they? Somehow more rustic or childlike, because the knobbliness of the weave is so... big.
