I've had writer's block for six months, and now I have three potential novels and one epic short-story series sitting on my harddrive that I could conceivably work on:

  1. Professor!Slash, aka an original gay romance novel thingy of which I have written one scene, and have planned a very basic conflict outline, a few detailed scene outlines, and semi-detailed character information.

  2. SGA Harlequin, an SGA AU that's half-written and of which I have a somewhat-detailed plot outline all the way to the end. No rewriting required - it's going to stay SGA. Whenever I finish it.

  3. Werewolf epic, an MCR fantasy AU that's maybe a quarter-written and of which I have a skeletal outline to the end of the plot, but will need some rewriting to get rid of the wholly superfluous band-related names and turn it into originalfic. If I ever finish it, that is.

  4. Just Like Verse, an epic jpop (Arashi) futurefic consisting of a collection of short stories, for which I have a detailed long-term outline and a lot of detailed short-story outlines - this one is pretty much completely fleshed out already in my head, just slightly less than the Harlequin. It's also going to stay fanfic, albeit in Arashi fandom where I have only one reader of any import (hi [livejournal.com profile] aeslis!)

Note that this is not a plea for people to vote for me, because such is the nature of writer's block that I'll be bound to just work on whatever I find myself feeling capable of, and the odds are not good that it will be more than one. If any. Although I've been feeling really upbeat and energetic lately, so I think it's likely I will be able to work on something in the near future. However, feel free to chip in with opinions or thoughts or "Are you serious, you wrote the first part of that three years ago"s if you want to!

I'm not voting, per se, but of course the fact that you haven't shelved the Just Like Verse makes me bubbly happy. Whenever it comes out I'll happily devour it! Just so long as some day it does. ♥ I have faith!

I actually just started rewatching all the Mago episodes from the beginning and Jun, oh Jun, he's so hilarious and fantastic and I have to say I've missed it a lot--it doesn't show up so much anymore in the new eps.

Anyway my point: ♥!

Heh, I'm sure it will... someday! I've been on the verge of writing more a few times, when I devoted thought to the various happenings in the verse, but then the writer's block got in the way.

Did you see you can have comment threads on pupe now? With a 25-character limit though. Harder to write a sentence that way in English than Japanese.

You don't know me from Adam but I have, er, followed you/your journal through several fandoms (eep) and I'm excited and surprised that you haven't given up on the Arashi fic. :) While I'm only half into JE myself right now, your Arashi fic was the first I read for the group and left a long-lasting and oh-so-good impression on me. (I never gave you feedback of any kind, so consider this overdue.)
