Look at our sweet little sugar bowl. It's like it's got a matching hat. We're gonna have to go back to Indiska and buy the matching teapot.

I ♥ Indiska. I bought several things there when I was in Stockholm.

Indiska: the second best retail reason not to move to a smaller town.

Hmmm... I think it's raku. The top colour is, though. It goes pretty well with our minimalist Nordic iittala dining ware.

Celadon would be the glaze and Raku is how they cook it. Wait, cook is the wrong word. Bake? No. Fire! That's the verb.

Check if the teapot is raku, too, because then it's no good for holding liquids.

Isn't celadon just a colour? My bad, I suppose it must have come from somewhere!

Sorry, when you said, "I think it's raku", I thought you were referring to my "Celadon! (?)" I got confused.

But yes, Celadon is the name of the colour, but colours in ceramics are either glazes or under-glazes (as far as I know celadon is a glaze).

The owl mug in the background almost steals the picture!

I get way too excited about tea & coffee paraphernalia.

That particular owl is named Oskar. He's my favourite. I'm pretty much a one-mug person, except when I'm desperate and that one needs to be washed.
