So, Swedish Idol has all new judges this season. In a way this is slightly sad because the old ones looked like the noobs, but on the plus side, I kind of like the new ones better. The female one was pretty great in the first episode, and get this - one of them is Max Martin (he who wrote all the major hits by the BSB/NSYNC/Britney pop wave in the 90s)'s composer collaborator, Andreas Carlsson. The great thing about Andreas is that he looks like a tiny, sunburnt, perpetually angry Gary Sinise. And practically every time the camera pans to him for a reaction shot, he is making some kind of bizarre and entertaining facial expression.
