Oh, Crysothemis is fabulous! Pretty much all the authors hosted by mrks (www.mrks.org) write decent dueSouth, although they barely have any Vecchio stories.

How bizarre -- when you look at the code, please let me know what it says!
When I read it on it's own comments page, the URL goes to the livejournal homepage (http://www.livejournal.com).
When I read it on my friends page, the URL goes to *my* LJ
(http://www.livejournal.com/users/giglet) -- and from Ae's comments here, I suspect that she's seeing her LJ, too.

So -- cool! You've stumbled across a way to encode a variable URL, and I'm really curious about how you did it, and how we can play with it further...
