These distressed leather boots with military styling look like the footwear for a majorette uniform to go with the titular skeleton marching band from The Black Parade. They've also added the now-widespread fat metal-tipped Chloé heel (a la here). (Modcloth.com calls them "risque", which isn't the worst name they could have, I suppose.)

Hello, I found you via your very gracious offering of Poirot caps and icons (from some time ago now) in [livejournal.com profile] poirot_fans and noticed we had quite a few slashy fandoms in common, as well as living in Finland, as it happens. So, I hope you won't object to my watching you journal? No need to friend me, of course, you just seem like an interesting type.

I don't think button granny boots are that uncommon - I've saved pictures of them before. The heel and the materials are a bit funky though.
