it could be like a first-time! like their relationship is full of ust and cuddling and nino's been crazy in love with ohno for years but he doesn't do anything about it other than be all over him all the time and flirt with him outrageously and then suddenly ohno asks him on tv to go to a deserted island and nino's like, JESUS, but in ohno's mind, that was like nino saying no to a date because he was clueless enough not to grasp that nino's behaviour all the rest of the time already constitutes a whole lot of invitations. so even though he's amused at the time he's a little sad about it until nino figures out the bee he's got in his bonnet and sets him straight. and then they go to an uninhabited island, at least for a picnic or something, and nino seduces him! the end.

3. he doesn't do anything about it other than be completely obvious to everyone except ohno. XD! completely obvious except for saying yes to a date that ohno has proposed--on a deserted island.
4. and nino seduces him! ♥
5. sometimes they make being a tinhat way, way too easy. XD

well, it's not that he doesn't want to date ohno, but hello, desert island? it didn't exactly sound romantic at first glance. who wouldn't rather have a barbecue?

i would like to take a moment to note that i'm still totally amused by ohno's happy face in that cap. he's like, "nino's touching me! AND going to go on a date!"

plus, who wouldn't rather go to a barbecue with someone who has a sense of taste.

you're saying ohno's a bad barbecue partner because if you ask him "hey, i'm not sure if i want that chicken, does it taste all right?" he will be like :O "DELICIOUS" but you can't trust his opinion?

dude, if ohno enjoyed fanfiction the way he enjoys food, you would hate him. XD (well, assuming he kept some kind of recs site or, oh ho ho! del.ici.ous account.)

maybe fandom!ohno does keep a del.ici.ous account, but he never says anything about any of the things he has there, and it is really whimsical for him when he uses it; he'll be like, "i'll link this in del.ici.ous" only every now and then.

OH MY GOD. OHNO DOES ENJOY FANFICTION. HE IS CLEARLY ship_recs.

yeah, fandom!ohno doesn't have the same taste in fic as in food. XD but he's probably not a very useful reccer either. he's not super super picky - like a lot of bnfs; astolat springs to mind. they're just happy if they enjoyed something or other which will lead them to rec dreck, awesome stuff and mediocre stuff, sometimes in the same breath. although maybe they're just being nice! hard to tell with some bnfs.

not ohno, though. i doubt it would occur to him to be so duplicitous. XD

XD it definitely doesn't occur to ohno to be duplicitous! nino is the only one he gives particular treatment; ohno probably has a very particular phrase he uses for nino, like, "and nino has something new out, so you know it's amazing." and for everyone he's like, "this was fun!" or "i liked it!" but nino is the only one he'll ever ASSUME brilliance with. XD

although he probably does use superlative language sometimes for stuff he thinks is awesome, though! it's the currency of fandom, and he's kind of restrained compared to some but pretty good at following those rules. he will rec things by people just because he knows them (not entirely, like not if he thinks it's bad!), but when he mentions, say, jun's new piece, he doesn't use any language more emphatic than he really feels about it, even though he does give it a special mention because jun is his buddy.

and nino always thanks ohno first on his stories, but sometimes cryptically, because ohno can't beta for him and won't but he really keeps nino going in the writing stage, encouraging him and never saying anything bad, but that doesn't stop nino from rewriting on the basis of what he says, like the innocent questions he asks and so on.
