no, no. i'm pretty sure in that screencap, he's adorable. :D and i have no idea about the definition and am too lazy to actually look it up, but yeah. that up there? adorable! i could adopt that. XD

well, actually, the nuance difference is that 'adorable' has the connotation of the affection which the cuteness inspires and 'cute' has slightly more emphasis on the intrinsic quality; plus the etymology of 'cute' originally had to do with appearance (charming/delightful because pretty in a wee and dainty way; cunning). but in a lot of common usage 'adorable' is just like extra cute.

unrelated to the previous comment but related to arashi & matsujun:

1. in the shukudaikun where matsujun and ohno go to massage places and matsujun gets the golden face-massage, two things were just so, like, omg! XD!:
→ the narrator going "golden prince matsujun"
→ the following conversation:
jun: am i pretty?
ohno: totally pretty.
nino: *stares pensively at the VTR screen from in-studio*

2. in this clip (http://youtube.com/watch?v=kklehy5jK9c) wherein they name ohno as the leader and, of course, that nino was already calling ohno ohchan has been discussed but the way that ohno goes, like, "no, i've already said it's bad!" and the audience goes, LEADER~, and ohno looks at nino and the camera goes to nino who just looks, i don't know, amused and pleased and delighted, because ohno is funny, and also being recognized!

i don't know, i'm probably reading way too much into it. (i definitely am.) but i am also feeling quite happy because of this, so i'm totally okay with my current level of tinhattery. ♥

(also, the way one of the hosts goes, "keio boy!" when everyone says they go to sho with their problems, ahahah. XD!)

i agree 2. is cute although i'm not sure exactly how to interpret it! maybe he doesn't have anything in specific he's wondering when he looks for nino but is just looking for him automatically. maybe he has gotten used enough to nino cuddling him already that nino's like a psychic security blanket, or something. ♥ and the way nino keeps looking at him too! and also unrelatedly, the way ohno's like :O the whole time and nino's... kind of awkward and elbowy-looking. but all of them were so precious when they were tiny and wee, so if i start enumerating those qualities we could be here for hours. or i could at least. i mean, since you're not actually, per se, here.

HAHAHAHAHHAHA ♥ oh nino.

i can't imagine the jealousy would last for very long over, you know, other members of arashi because they all love each other. and also cuddle each other. a lot. but i have a feeling rationality won't stop nino from getting in a snit sometimes. he seems like the high-maintenance kind. although he probably hardly ever doesn't have the fortitude to make ohno sleep on the couch or anything.

yes, exactly! XD nino knows jun isn't trying to take ohno away from him logically, but emotionally he still doesn't like to see ohno joking with his serious face without nino by his side as some kind of reassurance that yes, this is a joke.
